If you opt for fixation in revised pay on 01-01-06 your fixation will be:
On 01-01-2006 if your pay in the old scale of 12000-16500 (corresponding to new pay band of 15600-39100 and grade pay of 7600) was 15000 your pay will be 35500(including grade pay), and on the date of promotion your pay will become 46100 (including grade pay) which is the minimum of the pay in the pay band PB-4 37400-67000, grade pay 8700 (corresponding to old scale of 14300-18300), with date of next increment as 01-07-2007.
If you opt for fixation in revised pay on date of promotion 28-01-2006 your fixation will be:
On 01-01-2006 Pay will be 15000
On the date of promotion your pay will become 15500 in the pre-revised scale
On date of promotion pay will be 46100 (including grade pay) in the revised scale, which is the minimum of the pay in the pay band PB-4 37400-67000, grade pay 8700 (corresponding to old scale of 14300-18300), with date of next increment as 01-07-2007.
If you opt for fixation in revised pay on 01-07-06 your fixation will be:
On 01-01-2006 your pay will be 35500(including grade pay),
On the date of promotion your pay will become 36600(including grade pay of 8700)
On 01-07-2008 your pay will be 46100 which is the minimum of the pay in the pay band PB-4 37400-67000, grade pay 8700 (corresponding to old scale of 14300-18300), with date of next increment as 01-07-2007.
Cleaerly opting for fixation in revised scale on 01-01-2006 is most beneficial
