    Post Macp

My MACP is due since march 2016, due to official proceedings it is still pending. Will it be affected for 7 th CPC or I will get the benefit as per 6 th CPC. kindly help me to know the rule.

You can opt for 7cpc by exercising your option. On grant of Macp you would be entitled for pay fixation. You can revise your 7cpc option also at this stage.

    On 01 March 2016 = 16000 + 4800
    On 01 July 2016 = 16620 + 4800 (Normal Increment on 3% of pay (16000) & GP (4600))
    On 01 July 2016 = 17260 + 4800 (Promotional Increment on 3% of pay (16620) & GP (4600))
    On 01 August 2016= 17260 + 4800

Pay fixation as per 7 CPC notification will be helpful if you give option for coming into that on 01 July 2016, but you will loss arrear of pay from 01 Jan 2016 to 30 June 2016).

    On 01 July 2016 (after pay fixing as per 7 CPC) = 56900 (22060 * 2.57 = 56694.20, i.e. 56900 in Level 8)

    Sir,

The reply was very helpful. The MACP in march 2016 has to fulfill the conditions laid by 7th CPC (ie CR has to be very good) or it will be as per 6 th CPC ? (ie without any condition.)This condition will be applicable after 29 th june 2016 to MACP or will be effective since jan 2016 ? This condition is creating problem in some departments. needs reply.

    Thankyou Sir.

Evidently, Govt. has accepted the recommendation insofar as benchmark of condition as referred to in para 5.1.45 of 7 CPC report which includes MACP. As Govt. has accepted the recommendation, the benchmark should be VERY GOOD from 01 Jan 2016 onwards. But, in absence of any specific order from DoPT, it is not the right time to comment on that. Conclusively, it is presumed that the benchmark as you have referred may came into force from 01 Jan 2016 itself. But, wait for DoPT's detail order.
