Point No 1. One of my colleague has been promoted to the post of Office Supdt wef 09 May 2016 in PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200/-. He was also granted 2nd MACP in PB-1 Rs 5200-20200 with G.P. 2800/- wef 07 Jun 2010 and granted benefit of one increment at the time of MACP. Kindly advise in case he elects to switch over to the revised pay structure from the date of his promotion i.e. wef 09 May 2016 (Page 24 of Gazette Part II), whether pay proposed to be fixed as under, is correct or not:-

(a) 01 Jan 16 to 08 May 16 - He will draw old pay Rs 12370/-
plus G.P. Rs 2800/-

(b) 09 May 2016 - Rs 12370/- + Rs 4200/- = 16570
(16570 x 2.57 = 42584/-
Pay - 43600/- in level 6
(c) Date of next increment - 01 Jan 2017

Pt No 2. Pay Fixation Proforma has not been prescribed alongwith Gazette Notification. Kindly give specimen.

Point No 3. Grant of increment on 01 Jan and 01 Jul. Kindly confirm whether employees appointed or promoted after 01 Jan 2016 are only affected for grant of increment on 01 Jan/ Jul Or employees appointed or promoted before 01 Jan 2016 are also affected for this change, if yes what are the methodology for this change.

what will be his pay as on 01 Jan 2016 in level 5 and as on 09 May 2016 in level 6 and whether his next date of increment will be on 01 Jul 2016 or 01 Jan 2017.
