    Default Increment after long leave

    An employee proceeded on EOL for 5 years and after joining he submitted VRS with in a week. In this case, whether he is eligible for increments for 5 years? Which pay should be considered for terminal benefits?

    The period of EOL does not qualify for a increment. After EOL, for getting increment, he should work continuously for a minimum period of six months. In the case, since he worked only for a week, P&A drawn before proceeding on EOL which will be same on DOR and they are taken for calculating terminal benefits.
