Mr X JOINED AS LD CLERK IN PB-1 5200-20200+1900/- AND FURTHER I GOT PROMOTION TO THE POST OF UD CLERK IN PB-1 5200-20200 +2400/- LATER I GOT 2ND FINANCIAL UP GRADATION IN PB-1 5200-20200+2800/-. NOW HE GOT REGULAR PROMOTION TO THE POST OF SUPERINTENDENT IN PB-2-9300-34800 +4200/- AND HE JOINED DUTY ON THE FORENOON OF 01-07-2015. ACCORDINGLY HIS PAY IS FIXED AS UNDER.
PAY AS ON 01-07.2015 IN THE LOWER GRADE
UDC IN THE PAY BAND PB-15200-20200+GP2800 ;12710+2800/-

PAY AFTE ALLOWING THE NORMAL INCREMENT
@RS.3% DUE ON 01-07-2015 IN THE LOWER
GRADE UDC IN THE PAY BAND PB1 RS.5200-20200 ; 13180+2800
    +GP2800

PAY FIXED IN THE PROMOTED POST SUPERINTENDENT
IN THE PB-2 9300-34800+4200 WITH EFFECT FROM ;13180+4200/-
    01-07-2015.

In this regard his doubt is that, his pay band is changed from PB-1 to PB2- i.e 9300-20200 to 9300-34800/- whereas department allowed only different of Grade Pay only ie 2800 to 4200. No 3% benefit allowed. kindly clarify the fixation is in order

Pay Fixation on promotion after grant of MACP is NOT admissible. If Grade Pay of MACP Scale and Promotion Scale are different then only difference in Grade Pay is admissible.
