Default One more Option for GPF to CPF conversion for those who were in service before 1.1.86

It is observed that some employees were put in CPF instead of GPF even though Govt closes the CPF scheme. However some employees gave option to remain in CPF with the terms and condition existing on that date. But now it is observed that GPF people are favored in different ways like revising the emolument twice in a FY and changing other financial benefits. As a result CPF op tees are in great loss compared to their colleagues who are in GPF optees for similar work and service conditions. This is a GROSS in jusitce to CPF optees and therefore one more option should be given to CPF people or if not CPF amounts should also upgraded from time to time similar to GPF optees. Let all suffered peole join this movement against this in justice.

I think the option would be given by the respective department/organisation. I have knowledge that CSIR has given instruction in such occasion in the year 2011 for the person joined service before 01.01.2004. Authorized Association may help in this case.

The CSIR authority issued a circular (http://www.csir.res.in/csir/external...pen_070411.pdf) in this regard. Hope this will help you in presenting your case.
