    Default Insurance in death case

To whom will the insurance amount be paid in case of a female unmarried employee who dies in service and has not filed any nomination.

To the successor(s) to be distributed in equal proportionate.

What will happen when the official has neither filed nomination nor has any will. Will it be distributed amongst father, mother and siblings?

Exactly. It will be distributed equally among father, mother, siblings. They have to prove themselves for the same.

I like to add what I have said earlier. In absence of nomination for the purpose, nomination made under GPF/ CPF Rules, may be accepted for this purpose at first. If there was no such nomination even with that case, then it will be distributed equally among father, mother, siblings.

Dismissal/Removal of an employee entails forfeiture of his past services. However, the employee will be entitled to the refund of his contribution towards P.F. till the date of dismissal/removal/resignation. Insurance amount also cannot be withheld.
