    Unhappy entitlement of govt accommodation

So far there has not been any information regarding the entitlement of govt accommodations(type-I,II,III,IV etc.) in terms of the new salary structure. This vital factor has not even been discussed anywhere in 6CPC report as well - the reason is unknown .In fact, people who are applying for govt qtrs this year, are not sure which type they are actually entitled for.e.g. earlier for type IV the eligibility was 8500/- basic, now what is the new eligibility ? Nobody has the answer.

If any of the distinguished membres can throw any light on this issue then it will be a matter of great help for people like me who are in time bound transferable service.

    Dear friend
This is true that no such orders have been issued till date but the entitlement for accomodation is still measured on the basic pay of pre revised scale by the Estate Office and there seems no problem. Every one can calculate his pre revised basic pay and apply accordingly. Estate Office is accepting applications on pre revised pay. Try.
