    Default Pay on ex-cadre post

    Sir,

    Please advice suitable option.

Existing Pay Band is 18170 with GP 4600 in the PB-2 9300-34800.
    Deputation Post : 15600 with GP 5400 in the PB-3 15600-39100

In the above, which one is benefit? Give the fixation for the above two different
options. In case of option in the pay drawn in the parent department, whether there will be any lose in the entitlements pertaining to GP 5400?
    Please clarify, with relevant rules

You can opt the pay of the Deputation Post i.e: 15600 with GP 5400 in the PB-3 15600-39100. You will get the benefit of one increment (3%) in the Existing Pay Band 18170 and your new GP shall be 5400
