Under Expenditure Control, if a post is lying vacant for less than one year and is to be filled up by deputation, concurrence of Dept. of Expenditure is to be obtained. Assuming that such approval is obtained but suitable incumbents are not found, and in all likelihood re-circulation would spill over the one year period, when would be approval once granted hold good.

If using the approval granted, the department eventually fills up the post after one year, and say it is a default, then once this post again falls vacant subsequently, can Dept of Expenditure abolish the post for default committed ex ante
