Can a father/mother who is a gazetted officer attest the certificates of his/her child?

I feel that a gazetted officers can attest the certificates of their children like any other gaztd officer. If they sign on a false certificate of their children then they may be caught. In fact the documents attested by a parent can be more authentic than those attested by some unknown officer whose officialseal is illegible many times. But a gaztd officer cannot give conduct cirtificate to their children.

Logically, fathers should not do any attestation
