    Default Pay fixation on return from deputation

    A person in the Pay Band of 9300-34800 with pay band 4600 goes on deputation in the Pay Band of 9300-34800 with pay band of 4800 and get his pay fixed in the deputation post. In the meanwhile the person gets promoted in the Pay Band of 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of 4800 in the Parent Cadre itself. On return from deputation to the parent cadre will his pay be protected.??

    At the time of promotion (i.e. proforma promotion) in the parent cadre, the department will take you as deemed to have promoted as a person in the department itself.

    say, before the promotion you are getting x+4600 ( x = pay after giving due increment etc. which is deemed to have been received if you are holding the post in parent cadre)

    On promotion, you will get (x+4600)*3% + 4800.

    Pay protection will not be given, i.e. fixation given to you in the deputation cadre will not be protected.
