    Default Whether Gconnect Increment Calculator is correct?

    This is link for arrears calculator:
    http://www.gconnect.in/6cpc-matters/...alculator.html

    Following are details:

    Pre-revised Scale: 6500-200-10500
    BP as on 1.1.2006 -> 6900
    Date of Next increment - June 2006
    ----------------

    Will any one confirm that arrears (for above details) as Rs.372/- for Jan 2006 is correct? or Whether Rs.370/- is correct. Because for that month only Basic pay will defer which is rounded off to Rs.10/- therefore different amount of will have to end with zero and from 1-9.

    Am I wrong?

    You are right. The correct arrear for Jan 2006 is Rs. 370.

    The GConnect calculator is only an estimation and may also prove wrong where bunching takes place.

    Dear Sir
    My date of increment in the pre revised scale was May(Prerevised increment Rs.325) and as such I am eligible to get one increment from Jan 2006. I got my MACP (GP 7600) w.e.f 01.09.2008. As on Aug 08, my basic was 26900 which became 27910 in Sept'08 after MACP fixation. As such the arrears amount being reflected in the calculator will hold good or vary. Thanks in advance

    The GConnect Calculator is only an estimation. Further, there is no provision in the calculator to factor in the MACP upgradation which you got in Sept 2008.

    If you want I can mail you the arrear calculation sheet. I would require the following details:

    Pre-revised scale and basic pay as on 1.1.2006.
    Whether entitled to HRA (if so the %age)
    Your mail ID
