    Default Reg.Pay fixation.

    R/Sir, Namaskar,
    I was appointed as LDC on 30/6/94 in DDK,as per 6th CPC my payscale is 5200-20200 (BP-9070 & GP-2400) till 25/9/2010 and tendered technical resignation to join Dept. of Telecommunication as Jr.Accountant on dt.26/9/2010, payscale is 5200-20200 (BP-9070 & GP-2800). I would like guidelines and valuable suggestion on following points.
    1. Whether 3% initially pay fixation benefit along with the difference of GP ie.2800-2400=400/- will be alllow or not. My present office has given only the difference of GP ie.2800-2400=400/-.
    2. My past service, leave of different kinds etc. will be counted or not.
    I request your goodself, pl.guide with rule.

    The pay fixation in such cases is governed by FR 22-B. Under this rule the pay of the previous post is continued in the new post and the benefit of pay fixation is granted only on clearance of probation in the new post.

    Unfortunately these rules are yet to be suitably modified consequent to the implementation of 6CPC report. You may consider yourself lucky if your Grade Pay has at least been changed from 2400 to 2800. The 3% benefit may be claimed after clearance of probation in DOT.

    As regards counting of past service/leave, etc., the same is admissible if you have applied through proper channel and submitted "Technical" Resignation in your previous Office.
