    Default Family Planning allowance

    can a Central government employee avail the family planning allowance if the Vasectomy/ Tubectomy is done in Private hospitals which are not recognised under the CSMA Rules.

    The allowance is admissible provided the certificate issued by the private hospital is contersigned by a Civil Surgeon/District Medical Officer/AMA/Medical Officers of CGHS/Central Govt. Hospital.
