    Sir,

You will get Composite Transfer Grant = one month's Basic Pay + Grade Pay
and for trasportation of personal effects = 7.50 * Total distance in kms (from Mumbai to Raipur -residence to residence
You will get ticket charges for your and family also.

    Dear Pratibha,
Thank you for the reply. Kindly explain from where did you get rate of Rs.7.50. My HOD will definitely ask for some documentary proof.
    Srinivas.

The OM dated 23.9.2008 (http://finmin.nic.in/6cpc/TARules_6cpc_24012011.pdf) has since been modified vide OM dated 8.6.2010 (http://cgstaffnews.com/?p=2188) and has been further clarified vide OM dated 24.1.2011 (http://finmin.nic.in/6cpc/TARules_6cpc_24012011.pdf).

The new rate is Rs. 0.005 per kg. per km (Rs. 7.50 per KM for max 1500 Kgs.) in your case since Mumbai is a Class X city. Hence the amount payable will be (Rs. 0.005) x (wt. of goods in Kgs limited to 1500 kgs.) x (distance between Mumbai and Raipur in KMs).

Further, as per para 6 of OM dated 23.9.2008 (http://finmin.nic.in/6cpc/TARules_6cpc_24012011.pdf) the rates stands automatically revised by 25% whenever DA goes up by 50%.

Since the personal effects were transported by road the rates indicated for rail will not be applicable.
