Default Voluntary Retirement after 20 years of service

As per 6 cpc reco one can get full pension for voluntary retirement after 20 years of service. So, far I know it was accepted by govt. Is it so?

If so, is it still in vogue or govt has decided otherwise?

Yes full pension is admissible on retirement after 20 years of qualifying service. The pension will be 50% of last basic pay drawn or average of last 10 month's basic pay, whicever is beneficial.
