Default Documentary proof for 90% withdrawal

    Sirs,

i've applied for 90% withdrawal from GPF for the reason of ALTERATION OF ANCESTRAL PROPERTY

Actually i'm just altering the building in the name of my father.

which do not need any fresh plan approval from panchayat.

because i'm just changing the roof and flooring. And doing some partitions.

but our office insists for panchayat approved plan..

    is it mandatory?

i've furnished the proposed plan prepared by an engineer and the estimate.

    please guide me.

    regards
    Priyavarshini

It defers from dept. to dept. My department if the amount is huge, seek approved plan and estimation. If it is for minor repairs such as prevention of leakage of roof etc, competent authority is sanctioning sanctioning without much query.
