withdrawal for purchase motor car

I am a Central Govt Employee and have completed 15 years of service my doubt is whether I can withdraw GPF advance for purchase of Motor Car?

Withdrawal from PF for purchase of motor car is permissible. In case the car is not purchased, the amount has to be paid back.

Before that, vigilance section of your department has also to be informed about this and permission has to be obtained

You can withdraw from GPF for purchase of car provided your basic pay is Rs 19530. Mind it only basic pay only not basic pay + grade pay

There is no condition of basic pay for withdrawal from GPF (in Swamy Hand book), only 15 years of service is the condition.. pl. comment.

basic pay condition is for car advance from pay, I think..
