As understood, I am answering your queries.

I didn't found any order changing the Old Daily Allowance rates (as per Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Implementation Cell, New Delhi O.M.No.19030/2/97-E.IV dated 17.4.1998) as of now. Only the order mentioning the previous scale/pay etc. vis-a-vis with the new pay band system was found as per M/o Finance OM No. 19030/3/2008-E.IV dated 22nd January, 2009.

However, the Daily Allowance as per 6 CPC has to be changed with the change of Dearness Allowance (50%, 100%) etc. (http://www.gconnect.in/orders-in-bri...a-goes-50.html). As per OM F. No. 19030/3/2008-E.IV dated 23.09.2008, you are eligible for reimbursement of daily allowance in the form of hotel accommodation (3000/- + 50% on 3000) apart from mileage and food bill.
