About Me

  1. V Ganesan
    Mr. Victor,
    Thanks!
When joining the service in 2003, there was contributory PF available with the employer. In 2005, contributory PF was stopped and Superannuation Scheme was introduced. LIC is managing the SA Fund. All the employees on roll in the year 2005 were made to join the SA Fund. Acturial valuation was done by LIC and the Employer paid premium to LIC for starting the SA fund, effectively from the joining dates of each employee, though the Scheme was started in 2005.

I have completed 127months of service. Employees joining the service will be given five year contract and is being renewed for every five years without any break. As per Central Government Pension Rules, 20 years is minimum eligibility for getting pension.
I want to know whether employer can interpret me as 'not a permanent employee' and hence there is no pension even though employer(autonomous body) has made all employees to join the SA Fund and stopped the contributory PF. Please answer my queries.
