About Me

  1. bmkraju
    Dear Seniors,

I worked for 5 years 8 months (9-1-2003 to 20-8-2008) in an autonomous organization under Govt. of India. During the service, I applied for a senior post in another autonomous organization under Govt. of India through proper channel. My technical resignation to join new post was accepted w.e.f. 20-08-2008 AN. My parent organization sent service gratuity & retirement gratuity (of past service), GPF amount and service book to my current office.

There were about 90 unutilized ELs at my credit in my past service. Whether my parent office is required to send leave salary for the 90 ELs?

I have following questions on past service benefits transfer?

My Leave Salary: Need to be paid / Not required to be paid
    Pension Contribution: Paid/Not paid
    Gratuity carried forward: Yes/No
All Liabilities carried over: Yes/No (if No what is pending?)

I will be very much thankful for your reply.

I worked for 5 years 8 months in an autonomous organization under Govt. of India. While I was in this service, in response to an open advertisement, I applied for a senior post in another autonomous organization under Govt. of India through proper channel. Up on my selection, my parent organization relieved me (wef 20-08-2008 AN) allowing me 2 years lien on my parent post. Now I wish to continue my service in current department. I sent technical resignation through proper channel requesting my parent department to accept my technical resignation with effect from date of my relieving. My parent department has now asked me to pay leave salary and pension contribution for the period of lien. I have seen some cases (precedence) in my parent department; where technical resignations were accepted from the date of relieving and LSPC was not paid for lien period. What rules say ? Please guide me.
