yadunaathjee, I am SrividyaRajagopalan's younger brother. Hope u know him. In early sixtiesin NHS, Mannargudi, he used to perform a leading Role (Kind or Minister) in Annual Day Drama. If I am right u were the topper in the School, in the SSLC exam. My brother retired as Deputy Director (or equal in status) (Sciertnist F 2 or so) CECRI, Karaikudi. (Since the date of birth was reported wrongly by my paternal uncle he retired about a a year earlier than the actual month of retirement. Our home is at Gopalasamudram Mela veedhi.
Coming to your subject you have posted here, we are hoping to get the increment fixed for 1st of January for those whose increment falls between the 2nd of January to 30th June. I pray, Govt decides so, and decides so, before the date of your superannuation(retirement).

    With regards,

    S.Badri Narayanan, 0261 2760313 and 09427581503 iyengar.badri@gmail.com

I am one of those unfortunate persons whose increment date (prior to implementation of VI pay commission recommendations) falls between 1st Feb and 1st June. Increment date has been postponed to July as in all cases to maintain uniformity. I will be retiring from service in the year 2010. My retirement date is 31.5.2010. Hence in the year of retirement I will not draw any increment, which I would orherwise have got, had my increment date was retained at 1st Feb. I hope there are many like me will be losing an increment in their final year of service due to the vagaries of pay commission.
