Sir

One of my friend was working in state govt. for 6 years. He resigned from the post to take up a job in a central autonomous body in the year 2006. He had applied through proper channel. He was not allowed to count his past service of the state govt and was covered by the New Pension Scheme. Now that the new orders have been issued on the mobility of staff from state to central and vice versa. Will he be eligible for counting his past service and covered under old pension scheme.

it depends if ur friend has applied through proper channel and prior permission has being taken. also another factor is that whether the post in the central autonomous body was of fresh post.

Mr.Rao.
A Central govt employee joining other departments is permitted to encash his EL and HPL at his credit.I hope that your are allowed to avail the balance in your EL account after joining ESIC. However regarding Medical leave you shall take up the issue with state govt.
