I am c.govt. employee with gp 4600. my son is studying in class prep.my tution fee bill is not passed because orders says that it should paid from class nursery.any one pls tell me any explanation that nursery class is equvalent to prep. Or suggest how could I get reimbursement oh tution bills.:confused:

To get the benefit of education allowance, your son's age as on 1.4.2009 should be 3+. If he is 3+ on 1.4.2009, you will get the education allowance, whether he is in prep/nur./mont. class.

I require it very much, because my daughter (aged 3) is studying in Pre-KG.

Dear friends
As I knew there is no age limit while claiming CEA. The only thing is that it is admissible to those who are studying in Nursery to 12th class. The word Nursery is well defined in Oxford Dictionary and it does not cover Preparatory class which is done before nursery.
