One of the major and strangest anomoly(strangest because it has not been resolved yet) is that in some grades direct recruit appointed after 01.01.2006 are drawing more pay than the seniors in the same grade erstwhile.
Now i have learned that the above matter is under consideration, anyclue on that?

Dear Shri Jitender

I am one who is in receipt of lesser pay than my junior as detailed below.

I was drawing Rs 6900 in the pre-revised scale of Rs 6500-... as on 1.1.2006
My pay was fixed at Rs 17640 including grade pay of Rs 4800.

An individual who has joined in my office in the same cadre in June 2006 was fixed at
Rs 18150 (including grade pay of Rs 4800). Thus, I am in short receipt of Rs 510 in pay.

In your reply our friend you have stated that a step up may be given in such cases as approved by MOF.

If there exists any such rules kindly send to my mail (srinivaspenke@yahoo.com) as attachment.
