Dear Friend,

As one of the anomalies arising out of the implementation of recommendations of SCPC, the Confederation of Central Government Employees had referred this issue to Anomalies Committee seeking revision in the minimum pay in the pay band to be fixed at 12090 instead of 9300/10230 for the pre-revised pay scales of both 5000 and 5500 (at par with 6500). There are, however, no orders issued by the Government so far in consideration of this proposal of Confederation.

Three scales 5000, 5500, 6500 now have the same pay scale 9300-34800 with grade pay of 4200. However the fitment tables for existing employees are different for each of them and they have staring basic of 9300, 10230, 12090 + grade pay of 4200. Direct recruited after 31.12.05 in these three scales will have the same basic pay of 9300 + grade pay of 4200.

Dear Friend,

This indeed is anomalous and has accordingly been referred to Anomalies Committee. The decision of Anomalies Committee is yet to be made public.

Respected Venkatamji
Is this news true. As I know, no such anomaly is under consideration with anomaly committee.
