View Full Version : Reimbursement of Tuition Fee as per 6TH CPC

Sir,

As per 6th CPC rules, Please let me know whether we can claim Children Education Allowance (Reimbursement of Tuition fee) of Rs.12000/- i.e. Maximum of Rs.1000 /child/month at the end of academic year or we have to claim every quarter. Please clarify.

Dear friend,

You can have it reimbursed either way (quarterly or annually) on pro-rata basis against submission of receipts.

Actually you can claim max. of Rs.12000/- even at one go, if you have bills for that. i.e. there is no question of getting reimbursed on pro-rata basis if a person submits bills for Rs.12000/- at the beginning of acadamic year it self, then the office should reimburse the entire amount
