Thank you very much Sinhaji for your reply. One more clarification please.

I am presently serving outside my declared home station. Will I be entitled to any transfer grant on
voluntary retirement to home station.

Of course yes. Retirement under Rule 48-A does not debar you from any terminal benefits admissible under Rule 35.
1. Composite Transfer Grant (one months' pay, i.e. Pay in the Pay Band + GP).
2. TA (without DA) for self and family members to ANY PLACE in India where the retired Govt Servant wants to settle
3. Carriage of Household Goods and Vehicle as per entitlement.

Only difference being, retired employee not entitled for ADVANCE of CTG and TA. Final bill is settled.
You may send your final bill attached with journey tickets and boarding passes as usual by post after completion of your journey. ONLY then CTG and TA shall be admissible.

Dear Sinhaji,

I have opted for Voluntary Retirement w.e.f 15/11/2016 (AN) and sos from Kochi. I have settled in my Home Town Bangalore (SPR) also. I had forwarded my claim for
Travelling Allowance (TA) which has been admitted in audit. However the CTG component has been restricted to my 6th CPC Basic Pay in the Pay Band and GP i.e.,
Rs 23150+5400.
The following may be clarified please... My revised Basic Pay has been fixed as Rs. 75400/- wef 01/01/2016 and with my Increment drawn on 01/07/2016 Basic Pay was Rs.77700/. Am I entitled to CTG as per the New Revised Basic Pay, since my Last pay drawn was with Basic Pay of Rs. 77700/-.

Thanking you sir,
