Dear Krishna,
Before you challenge the illegal/illogical/irrational clarification dated the 29th June, 1974 of the then Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, it would be desirable that you may submit a representation to your Department for relaxing the FR 56 under FR 5A as the provision of the former are harshly operating against you being a 1156 born pensioner. You could take help of the facts I have posted under other threads similar to your thread. In my case my administrative Department had opined that the FR 56 was indeed harshly operating against me being a 1146 born pensioner. It is a fact that FR 56 operates harshly against only those born on 1156/1146/1138/1128 and not others born on the Ist of any month during 2128 to 311255, i.e. during 28 years.

Now it appears to me that a new thread in place of existing threads on similar subjects may be started with the following title:

"Retiring of employees born on the Ist of January, 1928/1938/1946/1956 by the Government on just a day before the date of the implementation of the 4th/5th/6th/7th CPC's recommendations, under the illogical/irrational /illegal clarification by the Government after the 3rd CPC and thereby depriving them of the benefits of the 4th/5th/6th/7th CPCs respectively"

Any comments, particularly from Shri JVSR Krishna?

Dear Krishna,
I am awaiting your comments on the proposed new thread as the same would cover all the past sufferers as suggested by Shri V Natarajan Sahib, a very senior member. He has been associated with the issue from the very beginning as would be clear from the earlier thread.
