Lat Year I had resigned from a firm and joined another. This financial year (13-14) I received EPF dues from the previous employer.

Should I include this amount also in the present year's income and pay tax accordingly

or

should I omit it here, revise last-year's return and reverse rebate claimed under sec 80c

if so,

what are exempted, what is not (EPF my contribution, employer's contribution and respective interests earned thereon).

Mr Pathak,

Thank you for your kind reply. While on the subject, I pose another query (related to tax again) - I have taken bank interest earned by me in my salary account. In addition, I have a cooperative bank account where I have received Rs. 20000/- towards an RD matured and also some amount towards Children Ed. Allowance and Share dividend (both given by the said coop bank to its members) . Should I take these also while computing the tax payable by me?

Advance Thanks.
