During LTC no private taxi reimbursement has been allowed. But the persons have traveled from siliguri (Bagdogra) to Gangtok in a private taxi. So, authority should treat this reimbursement as zero, assumed that the all the person along with children has completed the journey on foot, or the applicant has demanded that at least the reimbursement should be restricted to normal taxi fare or even bus fare. Rule should not defy the the law of natural logic (justice).

Taxi fare is reimbursed on Bagdogra - Gangtok route if the journey performed by a State Govt recognised taxi/tour operator which superinscribe vouchers as "LTC approved".

There are unambiguous rules regarding disqualification of private mode of travel while on LTC. They may defy natural and common logic, but they serve far pious purpose of discouraging false claims.
