I would like to know aboutthe rule of the withdrawl of money from GPF.

1. I have completed 15 years of service.
2. How much money I can withdraw?
3. Is it required to give any cause of withdrawl?

Generally withdrawal shall be for medical treatment of self and dependents, construction/purchase of house or plots, clearing of housing loan/its instalments expressly availed, payment of fees at the time of admission of children to colleges etc. Necessary proof has to be produced as stipulated by the rule or sought by the department. There could be much more on which seniors can through light.

You can withdraw upto 75% at credit. Upto 90% for housing purpose.
Withdrawal can be only after 15 years of service. But for withdrawal for housing purpose, it can be even before 15 years of service also.
