Whether Service Gratuity is payable in respect of officials who RESIGN from service after 6 years service. My opinion is they are not eligible. As per Rule 49(1) of CCS pension Rules, Service Gratuity is payable in respect of persons retire from service before 10 years of qualifying service.

Resignation from Govt. Service results in forfeiture of service. Hence no Gratuity/Pension is admissible in such cases. Only leave encashment of 50% of EL is permissible.

Yes, Service Gratuity is payable in cases of retirement with less than 10 years of Qualifying Service.

on resignation service and retirement gratuity is not payable but in resigned to join cpsu with proper permission than the employee is treated as deemed to be retired and he is eligible for both service and retirement gratuity if length of service is less than 10 years and if length of service is more than 10 years employee is eligible for pension.

By resigned to join cpsu with proper permission than 10 years ( 8 years) the employee is treated as deemed to be retired and he is eligible for both service and retirement gratuity if length of service is less than 10 years. Pl. clarify Is there any possibility to keep pension in PSU ?. If it is so, then combined service will be taken into account(Service under GOI+ service underPSU).
