View Full Version : Child Care Leave - whether to sabction to Fixed Term Employees of three years

Can anyone guide with rule position on eligibility of CCL.

I would like to know whether a female employee appointed on fixed term appointment (FTA) for a period of three years and on a regular scale in 15600-39000 GP 5400, is eligible for Child Care Leave. This post will not be absorbed in regular. If no, can we have rule position stating the same.(She has been sanctioned Maternity leave of 180 days).

CCS(Leave) Rules, 1972 is NOT applicable to "persons employed on contract except when the contract provides otherwise".

For terms regarding leave to officers appointed on contract basis, please refer to Appendix-II given in FR&SR Part-III (Leave Rules).
