Dear sirs

After getting the orders to pay the arrears ,if the office delayed months together due to their laziness ,then the employee can ask for the interest for the said amount ,said period. If so who has to pay the interest.

Thank you sir

Sir, I had come across a news in a leading newspaper where such a case was dealt by the H'ble High Court of Mah and the ruling was in favour of the employee of a State Govt Organisation who had sought compensation for delay on part of the empoyer to pay a certain arrears.

This is the news in ET dtd Sept 2008.

But I request Seniors to enlighten us whether there is no alternative other than fighting it out in the court ot ask for such a compensation.
