Sir,

I joined as LDC in Sep 1993 and on completion of 12 years I got ACP in Sep 2005 and my basic pay fixed to Rs.4000/- in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.4000-100-6000.

In the similar way my junior joined as LDC in Jan 1994 and on completion of 12 years on 24.01.2006 got ACP in the same scale of Rs.4000-100-6000 and pay fixed @ Rs.4000/- prior to 6th CPC.

Now on implementation of 6th CPC, our BP fixed as follows

Senior Junior

on 01.01.2006 7440 + 2400 7210 + 1900

on 24.01.2006 ACP ---- 7210 + 2400

on 01.07.2006 7740 + 2400 7780 + 2400

My junior getting more basic pay of Rs.40 w.e.f. 01.07.06 almost 4 years. I believe the gap will be more in future.

It is also observed that all those who joined service during 01.07.93 and 31.12.93 would get less pay than those who joined during 01.01.94 to 30.06.94.

Stepping up of BP at par with Junior w.e.f. 01.07.06 is applicable or not.

Regards.

Dear Friend,

Vide Note 10 of Rule 7 of CCS (RP) Rules, 2008, your pay has to be stepped up at par with your junior as on 01.07.2006

Dear Shri Venkat
In my office a case is unique. If you could kindly clarify so that person may get some relief. Three persons joined the organisation together as Peon. Later one got promoted to the post of LDC after qualifying the departmental examination. Other two candidates too promoted to the post of LDC first becoming Packer/Daftry and then LDC. Now the person who was promoted to the post of LDC first is getting less basic pay than the other two. Kindly throw some light

As per rules for stepping up, both the higher post + scale and the lower post + scale should be same. In this case, this is not so. Hence, no relief may be possible.

Dear friend,

Can you furnish the pay/post details of each person in both the feeder posts and higher posts with dates, etc.?

Thanks for your reply. The case put up to our HQ and they said nothing can be done in this case. Please advise me how can I get justice.

It would happen to all those who joined the service between Jul 93 to Dec 93 and 01 Jan 94 to 30 Jun 94. Unfortunately on my case is there in our establishment.

Please guide me, how to face my case.

I also request you to take up with case with JCM member to discuss in JCM and issue necessary clarification/directives by DOPT.

Regards.
