Sir, I had joined as Police Constable in Maharashtra Government on 01/06/04 after Serving State Govt. for 4 year, I had applied for LDC post in Central Govt.through proper channel and thereafter got discharge on 13/10/08 on ground “selection to Civil post” I have applied through proper channel and then only got discharge. Now I Wanted to count my earlier service to join in old pension scheme because previously i am in old pension scheme. Please guide me if I can be allowed to count my earlier service to join in old pension scheme & my pay fixation. My date of appointment in State Govt, was 01/06/2004. But the pension scheme under CCS (P) Rules already exists for me because entry of this scheme ceased with effect from September 2005. Please reply me i waiting for your valuable sugestion.

Dear Jatin,
The old pension scheme was for all those who were goverened by CCS Pension Rules as on 31/12/2003. All the new entrants to central government from 01.01.2004 were to be treated in NPS. So to me there is no merit in your case.

Thank for your reply. Sir i come to know that there is one decision of court if individual past service in old pension scheme that can be counted in newly appointment.
