An employee of our office had opted for pay fixation as per 7th CPC w.e.f 01-01-2016 and had drawn arrears also. However, his MACP was due on 22-01-2016 which was granted by the office in the month of October, 2016. He now has submitted his revised option to get his pay fixed from the date of increment. Can his revised option be considered and his pay fixed from the date of increment?
